They have made these gorgeous notebook sleeves with the same cloth and dye patterns from 500 years ago, re-designed for modern life. Hand printed, carefully sewing one by one, meticulous attention to detail, such as fasteners and bottom-lining (leather).

Tombo – the dragonfly is known as a good luck charm. It never retreat, represent the spirit of never give up, is the pattern that samurai use to wear.

Kiku – Chrysanthemum is likened to the sun from its shape, it suppose to ward off evil spirits. In addition, in chinese tradition, drinking “Kikusui” grants longevity. Is a pattern that was used as a family crest between the samurai and aristocrats.
